Integration of Quantum Computing by Major Cloud Providers: Perspectives from AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud

Abstract: Quantum computing represents a revolutionary advancement in computational power, leveraging principles of quantum mechanics to solve complex problems exponentially faster than traditional computers. This paper presents a detailed comparative analysis of quantum computing services offered by three leading cloud providers: AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure (Microsoft Azure), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The analysis covers an assessment of quantum hardware specifications, programming frameworks, supported algorithms, application domains, challenges, and future prospects across these platforms.

It explores the unique offerings of each provider in terms of qubit technology, quantum processors, and their respective quantum development kits (QDKs). Additionally, the paper evaluates the capabilities and accessibility of quantum algorithms for applications in cryptography, optimization, and materials science, highlighting differences and strengths among AWS, Azure, and GCP. Challenges such as qubit coherence, error correction, and scalability are discussed, along with strategic initiatives and partnerships aimed at advancing quantum computing research.
