Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic significantly transformed the global labor market, leading businesses and organizations to reevaluate their recruitment and selection strategies. This study investigates the implications of these changes for women in the workforce, with a particular emphasis on gender inequalities in recruitment, access to remote work, and job stability. By assessing the shifts in hiring practices following the pandemic and analyzing data regarding women's representation across different sectors, the research identifies both beneficial and adverse trends, providing insights into the enduring effects of COVID-19 on women's career paths. Additionally, the paper offers policy suggestions aimed at reducing the gender disparity in recruitment and selection processes.
