Author(s): Kalpana S. Tarwade1, Dr. Jayant P. Bobde2

Abstract: This study investigates the awareness and perception of digital and cashless payment methods among women, focusing on their knowledge, usage patterns, and attitudes toward digital financial systems. As the world shifts toward a cashless economy, understanding how different demographics, particularly women, engage with these technologies is critical for fostering inclusivity in financial services. Through a survey conducted among a diverse group of women, the study evaluates factors such as education, income, digital literacy, and socio-cultural influences that shape their adoption of digital payment systems. The findings reveal varying levels of awareness, with higher usage reported among women in urban areas, though barriers such as security concerns, limited digital literacy, and access to technology persist in rural populations.
