A study on impact of investment on Women Empowerment (With reference to Akola district)

Abstract: Today Indian women play an important role in economic activities. She plays best role in every field i.e. business, service, education and home maker also. Women are now independently work in every sector and get good income from her profession. But can she save form her earning and makes their own investment? As an investor is she independent? Can she make her investment confidently and her investment helps her to empower? As per various research on it shows that as an investor, women tend to be risk adverse, have traditional attitude, lower levels of financial knowledge, lack of confidence and dependent on others most time on her husband or family members. This research paper aims to highlight the role of women as an investor and impact of aware on her investment decision and her empowerment.
