Sustainability and Resilience in Industry 5.0: A Bibliometric Analysis

Abstract: Based on bibliometric analysis of the current literature, this paper aims at examining the emerging concept of Industry 5. 0 that covers its main technologies, environmental policies, human and social aspects, analytics, and new developments. Over the literature period from 1920 to 2024, the research selects one thousand and sixty-one articles in four hundred and sixty-four source documents, rising at a rate of 5 percent per year. Annual growth rate had been at 5. 99 per cent and the mean number of 13. 68 citations per document. The analysis: focus was put on AI, IoT, and digital twins as the crucial elements in manufacturing; discusses such aspects as sustainability and the people-oriented approach to technological change. This paper also reveals the importance of analytics, cybersecurity in building intelligent systems and possibilities of the future technologies such as blockchain and 6G. Thus, this thorough examination is informative for understanding the tendencies in the development of Industry 5. 0, laying down for future studies and innovation in this field so dynamic in growth.
