Abstract: Currently the 14th Assembly is going on in Haryana and elections for many local bodies and Lok Sabha have already taken place. Haryana is counted among the prosperous states of India. Today is the time of democracy not only in Haryana but in the entire world. In a democracy, elections are seen like a festival. Just as the elements of voting behavior are studied in other countries of the world, similarly some scholars in Haryana also study the elements of voting behaviour. If we talk about power in Haryana, earlier power used to revolve around Lal families only. But now the people of Haryana vote for change. At one time it seemed that after Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala went to jail, Chaudhary Bhupendra Hooda would become the Chief Minister for the third time. But the people of Haryana, showing their wisdom, gave majority to the Bhartiya Janata Party and a coalition government of BJP and JJP was formed in the 14th Legislative Assembly. This alliance also did not last the entire time. JJP withdrew the alliance. BJP formed the government under the leadership of Chaudhary Naib Saini in alliance with independents. In the presented research paper, the elements of changing voting behaviour in Haryana have been highlighted. The presented research paper is based on secondary research sources.
