Abstract: This research article is a modest attempt to study the voice of Afghans, their guilt and redemption against the inhumanity taking place with them in Afghanistan. Literature speaks the voice of every individual and portrays the drawbacks and flaws in the social system. It gives a chance to every oppressed and suppressed individual as well as to a community to speak their inner voice through it. It is the social duty of the writers that their narratives must influence the perception of public. The reader declares the aim of narrative by judging its factors in relation to the social set-up. Literature has every aspect of life in itself; it may be the portrayal of social drawbacks or may be portrayal of every major or minute changes taking place in the society. In the society there may be any social disease like betrayal, hatred, discrimination and violence of any form. These are the inhumanities that take place with humans and leave them tormented. Literature is a weapon, writer uses for bringing the desired changes in the society. Khaled Hosseini has played his role perfectly in portraying the inhumanity with humans in his novel. The twentieth century has become the hub of murder, rape, violence and abuse. It has become much harder to take breath in the open air. So there are lots of writers from modern to the contemporary period who choose their subject matter from the violent and abusive mood of the world and wished to portray the world that is full of violence. It is very difficult to assume that any society or locality and the persons from any civilization have ever been free from violence. It is very obvious to say that our surroundings, our narratives from literature, our houses are all full of the happenings, incidents that are totally linked with violence.
