Abstract: Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into creative industries has ushered in a new era for script writing. Generative AI-powered tools enable writers to conceptualize, develop, and refine scripts unimaginably. This paper explores the potential of AI in the scriptwriting process, examining its role in idea generation, character development, dialogue crafting, and structural analysis. While AI offers enhanced creativity and efficiency opportunities, it also raises challenges such as maintaining originality, ethical concerns, and the need for human oversight. By analyzing existing tools, case studies, and industry practices, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the collaboration between human creativity and AI in storytelling.
