This paper assesses the style of Bhagat's narration and its viability among the new generation of Indian writers who look less at high literary merit and more at readability. Within this paper, his contributions regarding the impact of the sociocultural, and literary results are further assessed to underlined how Bhagat changed Indian English fiction as well as how debates were instigated on balance in modern literature between artistic merit and commercial appeal.
