Abstract: The Indian banking sector is a cornerstone of the nation's economic development, experiencing significant transformations in response to globalization and technological advancements. This study explores customers' awareness of banking services, with a focus on digital offerings, across public and private sector banks in India. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from 420 customers in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Haryana, with Delhi selected as the primary research area. The research employs an exploratory cum descriptive research design and judgment sampling technique to ensure a representative sample. Findings reveal nuanced differences in awareness levels among customers of public and private sector banks, particularly concerning e-banking services. Statistical analyses, including t-tests and ANOVA, shed light on demographic factors influencing awareness levels.
