Abstract: Smartwatch, dubbed version “watch phone” is the next big thing that is gaining popularity now-a-days. Although, smartwatches can be traced back to 1970s but still it is a topic that is trending in the modern world because even when the people have accepted it at large, masses are still not convinced that smartwatch may replace traditional watches or may reduce phone dependency. Thus, a lot of research studies have already taken place emphasizing various parameters, its features, customers’ preference for different brands, their level of satisfaction etc. but still gaps prevail like in terms of how many features of a smartwatch are used and how frequently they are used. Are they used by everyone and if not, then who uses which features the most and which the least. Hence, an attempt is made in this research study to find out the usability of features of a smartwatch by the users in NCR. For this purpose, a sample of 220 respondents is selected and a well-designed structured questionnaire is asked to fill on the basis of which useful results are drawn. MS-Excel and SPSS are used as softwares to analyse and interpret the information provided. The results disclosed that approximately 51 per cent of the respondents do use smartwatch for more than 8 hours in a day. 77.3 percent respondents use the “Physical Activity” feature of smartwatch on regular basis whereas “Communication” is frequently used by 59.5 percent respondents.
